About Us

When I first wanted to add some home décor to my apartment in the Pacific Northwest I was shocked at how expensive rugs costed in this country. I was also having a hard time find warm and inviting colors in a part of the country that is very gray and dark.

I started 1001 Rugs as a way to bring quality handmade rugs into the United States directly from the Middle East at a reasonable price. When I come home from a rainy and cold day outside I like to come home to warm colors and a cozy aesthetic. It is a respite from a busy world outside that I want to share with everyone.
